Räkna med att "Playstations mest populära serier" kommer till smartphones

Platsannonser fortsätter vara en guldgruva för alla som vill veta mer om vad som händer i spelvärlden. Kort innan helgen uppmärksammade analytikern och insidern Daniel Ahmad via Twitter att Sony just nu letar efter en mobilchef som ska expandera Playstation på mobilmarknaden och släppa "Playstation's most popular franchises for mobile".

I platsannonsen kan vi läsa:

"Do you want to lead the development and strategy of mobile gaming and help shape the future of gaming for a world-class studio? As Head of Mobile, you will own and develop the mobile games strategy for PlayStation Studios and help build a foundation for future growth opportunities. You will lead all aspects of the expansion of our game development from consoles and PCs to mobile & Live Services with a focus on successfully adapting PlayStation's most popular franchises for mobile. You will be responsible for building and scaling a team of mobile leaders and will serve as the Head of this new business unit within PlayStation Studios."

Nyligen har Activision tagit kliv mot fler mobilsatsningar, och kanske är det något liknande Sony nu siktar på. Med tanke på hur populära spel som Among Us, Call of Duty: Mobile, Fortnite och PUBG Mobile har blivit, är det kanske inte så konstigt att de vill gå den vägen.
