Assassin's Creed Valhalla-teasern i The Division 2 var en slump

Om du, likt otroligt många andra spelare, lirat svenskutvecklade The Division 2 så har du möjligtvis sett affischer i spelet som verkar ha givit oss ledtrådar om det nu utannonserade Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Dessa ledtrådar har nu visat sig vara en ren slump och kom av sig enbart för att The Division 2 är just utvecklat i Sverige. I en intervju sade Ubisoft Montreals story-chef Darby McDevitt detta:

"You know what's crazy about that? That was a complete coincidence. It's just because The Division is made in Sweden, and they just wanted to put some stuff in there. Whoever the artist was, they just wanted to put in some of their Nordic culture. It had nothing to do with us.

I don't even think this game had a name at the time. We always work with a codename, and we always have a few ideas for names. We decide on one eventually, but that was very, very funny. The image that's in the poster has nothing to do with our game. Once you play Valhalla, our game, you'll see that there's nothing to do with the poster that was in The Division 2."

Nu kan man inte låta bli att undra vilka fler påskägg vi spelare har feltolkat som ledtrådar om kommande spel. Assassin's Creed Valhalla släpps julen 2020.
