Lords of the Fallen 2-utvecklaren sparkar folk

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 blev tyvärr ingen hit och det påverkar nu i sin tur Lords of the Fallen 2-teamet som tvingas göras sig av med personal. Utvecklingen verkar dessutom gå väldigt segt och är fortfarande bara på konceptstadiet.

Ledaren av projektet, Tomasz Gop, har själv lämnat och säger i en kommentar att CI Games varit alldeles för fokuserade på Sniper Ghost Warrior 3:

"It's not uncommon knowledge that didn't go exactly according to plan, especially if it goes for sales. And here we are. I was let go because of a reduction in team, in scope, in budget, in business approach."

Framtiden för Lords of the Fallen 2 känns osäker och utvecklaren menar att det inte blir något spel av AAA-model (påkostat storspel):

"What we said about departing from triple-A: it means that we can really focus on the quality of our products, not thinking we have to match the scale of the major releases. We have a very small team working on Lords of the Fallen sequel."
